I am inspired by many things, nature, art history, antique textiles, music and art journals
just to name a few. I'm always on the lookout for new items to incorporate.
Anything's fair game, often the more unexpected the better.
I paint in oil. Things are painted separately, then combined in photoshop
to give me more freedom while designing. I can recolor, switch compositions, and reformat.
I also reinvent and combine previously painted imagery for new collections,
depending on what's needed in the industry.
Lastly, I pursue licensing because I believe that beautiful work
should be available to everyone, both economically, and spiritually.
It should inspire people, move them, often in subtle and unknowable ways.
I hope my work, in some small way, does just that.
